Just created a test level simulating one of the athletic levels. Was having fun just running around while experimenting with Mario's physics and found out that His "P speed" still climbs up while air born before he reaches his max sprint speed. So I fixed it to where before then if he is in the air it drops to halfway at a fast pace so it doesn't disrupt the flow when doing fast jumps as shown here.
